hi sjoo

thanks for reply

Smart Duplicate, A great tool for a great software!

I use cinema4d. mograph module has such a tool, but the Maya's tool has more capability.

Cinema4d lacks True NURBS modeling.

Maya is more powerful than C4D, but i love C4D simplicity and interface.

I love your light globe model

THX Ali! Smile

Cinema4D is actual a great tool! But I think isn't so important which tools one uses. Rather in order one needs spirit to be creative. Wink

LinkingStars - Part 1

A dodecahedral variation of linking stars. I builded the base shape with a dodecahedron as start object in TopMod 2.0. Then followed a further preparation and the rendering in Maya.

Inspiration of Quin Sconce from Bathsheba Grossman. http://www.bathsheba.com/gallery/mgx/ That's my absolute favorite of her. Smile

Some screenshots

Final renderings

I don't know whether I really should do that, because I have really a very large respect of the work of Bathsheba Grossman. Perhaps Sheba wouldn't please that. I mean if she does approve this, then I will maybe do a short tutorial in TopMod. Wink

Intricate indeed Cool

See your tut:)

Maybe it's will be a good thing for this sort of repetition fo process (join to faces with the same step) to have a command for that?

I will ask that to dave Smile
